The professional career of Mr. Kerscher has been defined by three countries and four cities: After several years of study at the Technical University of Braunschweig, he worked at ORMS Architects in London. He followed this up with further study in Kopenhagen. In 1993 he was awarded his graduate degree in architecture from the Technical University of Berlin. He worked as an architect until he assumed the management of the Berlin office of Ingenieurbüro Schmid GmbH. In connection with the realization of the Sony Center and the Access Tower he transferred to Tishman Speyer Properties for a period of five years. In 2004, he once again took on responsibilities at Ingenieurbüro Schmid GmbH as managing director. In addition to his work for westend consult, Mr. Kerscher manages SILVER Construction Engineering GmbH, a company founded by him and active in the area of project management.
